DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Over two dozen line workers and support staff from Minnesota Power and Superior Water Light and Power left for Florida on Wednesday to assist in restoring power to the devastating damage from Hurricane Milton.
The storm that hit Wednesday night has left an estimated 3 million customers without power across Florida.
Northland power crews will be joining other personnel from at least 29 states in responding to the call for help in recovering from Milton and associated tornadoes.
Minnesota Power crews have provided hurricane assistance seven times in the past 20 years.
