DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – On Thursday afternoon, Duluth Police responded to a check welfare call in the 6000 block of Tacony Street.
They discovered the bodies of a 47 year old woman and a juvenile dead from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
A suspect in those deaths was identified and officers set up a perimeter at his residence in the 4400 block of West 6th Street.
When they made entry to the home, a 45 year old female and a juvenile were found dead from gunshot wounds and the 46 year old male suspect was also located dead from what appeared to be a self inflicted gunshot wound.
The police have now identified the victims:
47-year-old Duluth resident Erin Abramson and 15-year-old Duluth resident Jacob Nephew were located deceased from apparent gunshot wounds in the residence in the 6000 block of Tacony Street.
45-year-old Duluth resident Kathryn Nephew (Ramsland) and 7-year-old Duluth resident Oliver Nephew were located deceased from apparent gunshot wounds and the 46-year-old Duluth resident Anthony Nephew, was also located deceased from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the residence in the 4400 block of West 6th Street.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
