DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A Friday afternoon plane crash in Duluth killed the pilot and sole occupant of the Cirrus SR22.
The crash occurred off Grassy Point in the St. Louis River.
The victim was identified as 52 year old David Rathbun from Hermantown.
The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash that was reported by several witnesses just after 4 p-m on Friday.
